Microencapsulated Permethrin Provides a "Knockdead" Effect: InsectGuard provides continuous, effective, and odorless insect protection that lasts the lifetime of the garment. Our system combats insects' ability to find a way to bite through and feed. The pretreated microencapsulated permethrin insect repellent is registered to repel mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers, and/or midges. When insects come in contact with it, they experience a "Knockdead" effect. This unique treatment process eliminates the need for sprays, lotions, sticky substances, or chemicals absorbed into the skin.
